Margarida e o Monstro
This is the third version of an authorial project for a children's book, written, drawn and illustrated by me, whose theme is preventing child abuse. It arose from the need to help children or adolescents who are in situations of abuse and to prevent future cases.
These illustrations emerged from studies carried out trying to find the best way to illustrate this very difficult topic, providing information without causing surprise.
A lighter approach was used to help children who are going through situations of abuse, and at the same time it sounds like a fantasy story for someone who, fortunately, never went through it.
The book is currently in its fourth version, being reillustrated.
